About Barnwood Park & Arboretum: Write here your message
The red marker is on Barnwood Balancing pond. Immediately to the north is Barnwood Park and also Barnwood Arboretum, a Local Nature Reserve accessed via the park. There are some magnificent mature trees in both the park and arboretum with a stream separating the two areas. The arboretum is managed for wildlife and there is a wide range of birds on the site. About Highmead Residential School: i was put in highmead residential school in 1982 when i was 8 years of age up untill 1993 it was a place where they helped people with learning disabilitys and cared for children with other problems. my head master,s name was Mr Rees and we also had other people looking after us. il never forget 1 of my carers who,s name was Malcomey he was a loving caring person. in highmead school you use to come home once a fortnight if you were lucky to see your parents. if you stayed in school for the w...
